What is standard model of particles physics?

I know many of you must be familiar with the periodic table of the elements ;"The modern periodic table"simultaneously the standard model contains the particle which are electron,proton and neutron and some forces which is electromagnetic force and much more. So here I present the function of every particle in a small and informative way.

THE STANDARD MODEL OF PARTICLE PHYSICS:-

If you were to take any every day object say, a cup of coffee and break it in half, then in half again and keep on going forever one would you eventually find a set of indivisible building blocks out of which everything is made.

Physicts have found the latter, that matter is made of fundamental particles, the smallest thing in universe. Particles interact with each other according to a theory called the "standard model". Zooming in the particle of the cup we see the molecules made of atoms  bond up together. Also, the atom is not the smallest unit of matter. It contains electrons, which is one of the particle in the standard model table.

1. ELECTRON,PROTON AMD NEUTON:-

Electrons are bounded to an atom nucleas by electro-magnetism. They attaract each other by exchanging particles called photons, which are quanta of light that carry the electro magnetic force. The nucleas of an atom contains photos and neutrons which you might be studied in class 9. 

2. GLUONS AND QUARKS:-

 As, I've explained the string theory which states that particles are made of quarks. A proton contains two "up" quarks and one "down quark. Whereas a neutron contains two down quarks and a up quark.


The nucleas is held by a fundamental force which is another fundamental force of the standard model. Particles called "GLUONS" carry this force.

However experiments have decided that there are six types of quarks:-

1.Down and up 

2. Strange and charm 

3. Bottom and top 

3. MUON,TAU AND THE 'W' AND 'Z' PARTICLES:-

All varies in their masses. The same was found for electrons which have siblings called MUON and the TAU. These heavy particles are only produced for a very brief moment, like in high energy collision and are not seen in everyday life. This is because they decay very quickly into lighter particles. Such decays involve the exchage of force-carrying particles, called the W and Z which unlike the proton have mass. There's another kind of particles called neutrinos . These only interact with other particles through weak force. Trillions of neutrinos,many generated through the sun, (how does sun produce energy?)fly through us every second. All these particles also have antimatter versions which have the opposite charges.

4. HIGGS BOSON (THE GOD PARTICLE):-

The final particle of the standard model is the HIGGS BOSON(ever imagined that from where we get energy?)a quantam ripple in the background energy filed of the univers. Interacting with this field is how all the fundamental particles aquire mass even us. After discovering this many scientist belived that the confusion of the presence of God. Higgs boson is also called the "GOD PARTICLE". The researches are still going on.
