THE BODY PARTS WE NO LONGER NEEDED

HELLO THERE ONCE MORE I'M BACK WITH A INFORMATION ABOUT THE BODY PARTS WE NO LONGER NEEDED, THE INFORMATION USED IN THIS BLOG IS REAL AND ARE COLLECTED BY US FROM VARIOUS WEBSITES AND ARTICLES.

1 APPENDIX.

Appendix is a narrow, finger shaped pouch that projects from your colon on the lower right side. The appendix is a thin, roughly four-inch-long tube that's part of your gastrointestinal  tract It's been unclear what role the appendix has in the body, and removal of the organ doesn't appear to have any negative health consequences.

For many years, scientists believed the appendix was a vestigial organ — one that lost its original function through centuries of evolution.Sometimes, the appendix can become inflamed and infected, resulting in a condition called appendicitis.

Appendicitis is often the result of an abdominal infection that has spread to the tiny organ, or some kind of obstruction that has blocked the small opening of the appendix

2. GOOSEBUMPS

Our ancestors posessed a lot more body hair and goosebumps gave them the appearance of being bigger, which it is thought could have helped us scare predators away (think of an angry or scared cat) . This is why we get goosebumps when we’re scared. We also get them when we’re cold, because puffing up our fur would once have helped us to keep warm. Nowadays, they are pretty much useless. In animals, that process can help retain heat and make an animal larger and threatening but in Humans, goosebumps are of no use

3. WISDOM TEETH.

Human jaws have go smaller over time, and as a result we can’t fit our wisdom teeth in.In fact, many of us can’t fit most of our teeth in. About 1 in 5 people are affected by ‘dental crowding’, so we definitely don’t need to start growing extra teeth in adulthood.

Most scientists agree that our jaws have got smaller because we eat differently – we no longer have to chew through raw vegetables and tough meat.

4. A THIRD EYELID.

At the very corner of your eye, next to your nose, there’s a little flap of skin that doesn’t really need to be there. This is called the plica semilunaris, or the nictitating membrane. Birds and reptiles have these extra translucent eyelids which they can put across their eyes for protection or moisture while still being able to see.

5. TAIL BONE.

Million of years ago, one ancestors used to have a trail which helped them in weight distribution. Providing more balance and stability in walking. Humans don't have a trail, as we don't need it but the tailbone at the bottom of spine is still there.

THIS MUCH INFORMTION WAS IN THE ABOVE ARTICLE. HOPE YOU GUYS LIKE IT IF YES THEN DON'T FORGET TO SHARE.
