RANDOM FACTS EXPRESS#7
Hello there!! I'm back, once more from a long time. So these facts are quite true and are taken from many websites therefore read it carefully.!!!
1. HOW DOES ALCOHOL MAKE YOU DRUNK?
We have seen many people doing hilarious things after drinking alcohol or licker. So let's see how alcohol affects our brain and make them to do hilarious things.
Ethanol of responsible for drunkenness , ethnol is the active ingredient in alcoholic beverages. So how exactly it causes drunkenness? To find it's answer we will need to follow alcohol on its journey through the body. Alcohol lands in the stomach and is absorbed into the blood, from the blood alcohol goes to the organs, espically those get the most blood flow: the liver and the brain. Brain sensitivity is responsible for the drunkenness, alcohol turns up the brain's primary brake, the neurotransmitter GABA, and turns down its primary gas , the neurotransmitter gutemate, this makes neurons much less communicative, and users feel relaxed at moderate doses, fall asleep at higher doses. This topic is very complicated so for more information comment. I'll write about it in next article.
2. WHAT CAUSES SWELLING?
Swelling or edema usually occurs when tiny blood vessels leak fluids into the surroundings tissues ,some causes of edema are as follows:- Firstly one releases a protein called albumin into the blood stream. Albumin keeps fluids from leaking out of the blood vessels. However in a serious liver condition called "CIRRHOSIS" it cannot produce enough albumin, without albumin, our body can't prevent fluids from leaking. Thus causing swelling.
Secondly in nephrotic syndrome, the filtering parts of kidneys called glomeruli get damaged which causes loss of proteins like albumin, thus causes swelling.
However, not all swelling is bad because during an infection, excess fluids and immune cell reach the infected sight to fight gems. This can also cause swelling, but in this case, it's good for over body.
3. DO PLANTS POOP?
If we mean a solid waste coming out through an end point, then obviously plants don't poop. However in the following situations can be equivalent to pooping on terms of plants. Firstly, a plant stores waste material in its bark and old leaves and get rid of it be peeling off bark and shedding of leaves. Secondly some plants even store their waste material in the form of secretions such as latex, gum, resin etc. Thirdly, at night because the stomata are closed, the excess water absorbed by the roots cannot be expelled. Hence, some plants remove this excess water through tiny pores present in the margin of the leaves. This process is called guttation.
Lastly carnivorous plants like Venus fly trap catch insect, extract their juices and then open up allowing the hard, solid bodies.ie. waste material to fall off.
So this much was there in today's facts, hope you enjoyed it! Meet you in the next blog article comment your favourite fact and in which you are interested.
