So we live in such a country where "Bos tarus"(cow) are being praised by us as per our culture and also we have separate respect for cows as compared to other animals.

COW'S MILK:-

Cows are rich source of milk, cows milk are good source of protein and calcium as well as nutrients including vitamin B12 and iodine.

WHY COW MAKE MILK?:

Cows are mammals, just like humans. All mammals make milk to feed their babies. In order for her body to make milk, a mother cow must have given birth to calf. This birth tells her body that it's time to make milk.

THE WAY WE'RE TREATING COW:-

As I mentioned earlier we treat the cow as God's own animal, even there are so many cow related yojana's and schemes all over India.

If you think like this you are totally wrong whereas this is the reality:-

Unlike what they want us to believe most dairy cows have no chance to graze and pasture or live freely, they live in enclosed spaces and are forced to walk on concrete slabs and are surrounded by the metallic sound of machinery fences,

in about ten months a single cow produce fifteen gallons of milk per day which is 14 gallons more than she would produce in wild, the enormous physical effect it takes to produce that much milk will ruin a cow's body and lead to premature death within just a few years cows are continually impregnated to guarantee constant milk production and calves that are born are very soon separated from their mother so that they could not drink milk from their mother's body and also there feeding is totally artificial and since they'll never see their mother again. As I mentioned earlier the intensive production and never-ending milking causes serious damage to the body of the cows often there breasts become inflamed causing mastitis,

a very painful infection. The good news is that we all live in remote areas where the dairy men don't practise this all due to the absence of machinery but eventually it can be raised.

THE REALITY OF MILK PRODUCTION IN COWS BODY:-(simplified version of the upper para)

You know what, cow produce milk to feed their babies not to feed us but as we started drinking it's milk it's production has subsequently raised due to which cows body are forced to produce milk for us which is cruel. Imagine yourself, the machines are attached to you for long hours and also you are under the bars. 4 seasons 12 months the machine is attached imagine how painful.
